(1) Minimum age for seeking admission
In Nursery is 2 years & 6 Months and maximum 3 years & 6 months as on 31st March of admitting year. Similarly +1 year for the next higher class.
(2) Registration
(I) Prospectus and Registration forms for admission to the school can be obtained from the school office on cash payment.
(II) It should be duly filled and submitted with the required documents and certificates, within the stipulated period.
(III)The registered candidates will be called for an admission test and an interview.
(IV) Registration fee is non-refundable and (Registration is no guarantee for admission)
(3) Test / interview
(I) Admission is on the basis of written test and interview.
(II) For admission to various classes, tests are conducted on academic syllabus of the class passed.
(III) There is no written test for admission to LKG class. Admission is granted through lottery system only however, school also allows admission under RTE in this class as per provision.
(4) Admission
(I) Admission will be strictly on the basis of Merit.
(II) Birth certificate in case of admission in LKG and the transfer certificate along with attested copy of Report card obtained from the previous school for rest of the classes, are essential at the time of admission.
(III) Fee has to be deposited within seven days of selection failing which; the seat will be allotted to the next wait-listed candidate.
(5) Withdrawals
D.A.V. A.C.C. Public School, Katni aims at excellence in all spheres connected with education and bringing up of children.The school expects that except for some purely personal / family reasons the child will not be withdrawn till he/she has completed schooling. But in case it becomes imperative to withdraw a child, it may be done subject to the following rules and regulations of the school
(I) Those who fail to show satisfactory progress and are unable to cope up with the studies.
(II) Those whose fees are in arrears.
(III) Those whose behavior and conduct is not up to the mark.
(IV) Those who fail twice in the same class and are below average.
(V) School leaving certificate, progress report etc shall not be issued until all dues are cleared.
Duplicate copies of such certificates are issued only after submission of an affidavit,verification and on payment of Rs. 200/- (Two hundred only).
